The Beginning of a Dream

This gallery contains 8 photos.

I was going to write a “normal” post, when I thought it needed more. I’ve not written any rhymes for months, too ill and on the floor. So why not now? Is what I thought, I even have a theme, … Continue reading

Illustration Friday – Fluid

I missed last weeks! Was really gutted as I had an idea but no time to draw it but may add one anyway.. for this week I am going to cheat because I haven’t time (but did do an illustration friday, just didn’t fit so at least I’m still drawing). This one is from my Sketchbook project book (which I don’t think made it to it’s destination after all that hard work). This page is a poem I wrote a while ago which I then illustrated and it’s about my ever- changing, fluid mood swings (I have bi-polar II).

Illustration Friday: Suspense

This weeks Illustration Friday has been inspired by my recent creative project Fairy Post. I drew this and it also worked really well for the website so I’ve used it there too.

Pinky Waits

The Fairy Post has gone,

off to share a smile.

As Pinky get’s back to writing,

working through the pile.

In suspense she waits,

for her human to reply.

A lovely letter; “Human Post”,

from someone saying “Hi!”.

Fairy Post – Illustration Friday – FORWARD

FAIRY POST: I used to love receiving handwritten letters when I was younger. I read that some writers are trying to revive this and I’d like to join them. The feeling you get when you receive a letter, even as a child is amazing. If you have a child who you think would like to receive a letter from a fairy then email me at tracy.shave@mouldingfutures.co.uk with your address. If there is something your child is worrying about add that, or if they are having trouble with something add that too. Plus add some details that will make it unique to them (favourite soft toy, colour, etc) and I’ll create a handwritten tiny fairy letter which they recieve in the post with a fairy-made wand! They will also be able to reply. xx
This is my february creative challenge. I’d like to do one a day and send them out on Fairy Fridays so they get them Saturday.
Please donate to my Just Giving page to help raise money for Great Ormond Hospital by following http://www.justgiving.com/Tracy-Shave as a thank you. I drew this image for the new website but it also works well as this weeks illustration friday post FORWARD…
